Subject: changes to Wind Chill Advisory and warning criteria
          for the Columbia NWS area of responsibility to become
          effective December 1 2014

Beginning Monday December 1 2014... the criteria by which NWS
Columbia issues wind chill advisories and warnings will change for
its entire area of responsibility. The current criteria of zero
degrees for a Wind Chill Advisory will now become plus five degrees
and the current wind chill warning criteria of minus 15 degrees will
become minus 10 degrees.

South Carolina counties affected by this change are:
Aiken... Bamberg... Barnwell... Calhoun... Chesterfield... Clarendon...
Edgefield... Fairfield... keshaw... Lancaster... Lee... Lexington...
McCormick... Newberry... Orangeburg... Richland... Saluda... Sumter

Georgia counties affected by this change are:
Burke... Columbia... Lincoln... McDuffie... Richmond
